After several different Anchors failed at one end of an otherwise highly successful Mall it was decided to convert the vacant Anchor store to multi tenant uses and transform the adjacent wing of the Mall to outdoor shops and common areas. Thus began the process of taking unused and low return spaces and creating a new environment to a side of the mall previously left to wither.
The results were an unqualified success as there was now a new opportunity for outdoor shopping and walking within the confines of a regional mall. This new portion of the mall has become an ongoing hub of activity for shopping, eating and meeting.
